About

AmyI’m a broadcast journalism student at the University of Oklahoma.  I’m originally from Wisconsin and I love to travel.  During the school year I serve as an anchor, reporter and producer for OU Nightly, our student-run newscast.

I spent last summer in Washington, D.C. interning for The Washington Times.  I had an incredible time covering the election last year — I went to both political conventions, and covered the Senate races for OU Nightly when I returned to school.

From January to April of this year, I spent my time interning for Scripps Howard. My work was used in Oklahoma and across the country. I remained correspondence with OU Nightly and Routes, our student webzine, while in Washington.

This summer I am interning for CBS News in Washington, before I return to OU for my senior year!
